Undecylenoyl Glycine is a multifunctional amino acid–based derivative, widely used in personal care and cosmetic formulations. With both lipid-compatible and water-dispersible properties, it is recognized as a mild, skin-friendly ingredient suitable for modern formulations.
Specifically, undecylenol glycine has characteristics such as acidification regulation and glycine as a biological mediator, which can maintain the ecosystem of the skin. It is also effective in treating seborrheic dermatitis, effective against Pityrosporum ovalis, and particularly suitable for anti dandruff products.
In addition, Undecylenol glycine has broad-spectrum antibacterial activity and can be used as a deodorizer to eliminate body odor. It is effective against Staphylococcus epidermidis and Propionibacterium acnes, making it particularly suitable for the treatment of acne prone skin.
